We're going for a bike ride on our cool skills course, where can play around and have fun with various MTB games. The focus will be on enjoying ourselves and maybe making some new friends.
We'll be on the skills course the entire time, so it doesn't matter if we don't all ride at the same level, but it's an advantage if you are more or less used to riding a bike. You don't need to have tried mountain biking before.
If you don't have your own bike, you can rent one of our cool rental mountain bikes - we also have bikes in kids' sizes!
You are very welcome to bring your parents, so they can be there to lend a helping hand or just to see how cool you are on the bike! If you are comfortable taking part without your parents, you can also just give them some time off - maybe they would like to use the time to get out and go for a ride on the trails in Svinkløv Plantation... :)
Mountain bike rental
If you don't have your own mountain bike, then you are, of course, able to rent one of our cool rental mountain bikes - booking is necessary!
NB. The tour will primarily be held in Danish, but your guide also speaks English, and will always make sure that everyone understands what is being said and feels included in the group.
- 2 hours of MTB technique and play for children
- Certified mountain bike instructor
- A small snack along the way to keep us going
- Option to rent one of our cool children's mountain bikes for the activity
Practical information for the activity:
- We meet changed and ready at the activity's start time outside the reception at Feriecenter Slettestrand, Slettestrandvej 140, 9690 Fjerritslev.
- It is a requirement that an approved and intact bicycle helmet be worn throughout the course (if you've hired one of our rental bikes, there is a helmet included).
- We also recommend clothing adapted to the season and activity.
- Bring a full water bottle and possibly a small snack (water bottles can be purchased at the reception).
- Please bring your health insurance cards.
- If you have any illnesses, allergies, physical limitations etc. that you think is relevant for the instructor to know, please inform us before the start of the course.
